I really wanted to like this but I didn't. The story is alright just nothing memorable that I'd look back on. The dialogue between children didn't seem natural to me. The romance felt flat to me.
I liked Ilsa, though. I understood why they were together.
Most things felt flat in here. That's my main gripe.

I didn’t really know what to expect with this book. Vampire fantasy? Didn't seem like my cup of tea. So I certainly didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. This book was a journey from start to finish. Extremely well written characters, plot, and world

So many questions were answered, but so many things were left unanswered. It was a perfect blend

5/5. Just amazing. Can’t wait for book 2

Just wonderful. Twists and turns and brilliantly jumps from spot-to-spot in the timeline to create the full picture. The questions left unanswered at the end make you crave the next installment without being frustrating. The characters are flawed, clear, and compelling. What an incredible journey.

This took bloody ages. I enjoyed it but there isn’t the usual Kristoff hooks for me.

Everyone is dead.
I want to know more about Celena.
I suspect numerous people will resurrect
