This book, written like a stylised history book, is beautiful. The sketches and drawings illustrating it are really gorgeous, and the style really goes well with the ASOIAF saga. The story (or maybe History) is enthralling, and all the little anecdotes thrown in there only make it more coherent and believable. I really liked my time with the book, and I can only recognise Martin’s creativity. He is for sure one of the greatest story-maker of our time. Now George please stop procrastinating and go back to world, you naughty boi.

i loved that it read like a history book and the narrator for the audio was great. i can't think of anything that would make the book better. it did it's job well.
