DID NOT FINISH: 70%

DNF 70%. Die ersten 15h fand ich schon ganz cool, aber irgendwann habe ich die Verbindung zu den Figuren verloren, weil es zu viele sind und man immer weniger über ihre Persönlichkeit und Intentionen erfährt. Dann wird es langweilig.

Good - would have preferred Winds of Winter of course, but still enjoyable

DID NOT FINISH: 14%

DNF at 14%. I just can't get into this book. The writing style feels like it's trying too hard to be witty, and the FMC Sophie is absolutely insufferable. The plot had promise given all the conflict with AI these days but for me, the execution is poor.

Mostly dry and too much written like a history book. Interesting details and facts about the history before A Song of Ice and Fire. But I would say this book wasn't necessary. I would see it as a simple reference book and just nice-to-know stories. It's like a wikipedia for ASOIAF, nothing more honestly.
