I know this is a product of its age but this is the second book by this author that has some racist references (the first one was the Little Princess)
Still, this is much better and could've been a five star read!

One of the most adorable a sweet books I've ever read. It takes me straight into the "magic" of the garden with these young people who are in desperate need of guidance and attention that they end up finding in each other.
