I am so happy to find out more about Poe! He's definitely been the most mysterious of the group, so finding out about his careful hidden family was a big surprise. Basically I adore everything about him and Phin and their daughter. Lots of action and mayhem in this story with all the guys pitching in to save the day.

Raven’s Hart

...I have had a love-love-want to smack-back to love again type of relationship with Poe throughout the entire series. I sort of fell into this series in the beginning and I’m so glad I did. It’s been an emotional ride from start to finish, but man what a ride. This book gave me a new understanding for Poe and now I can’t wait to go back and reread the series.

Poe, his family, and the entire Haven Hart family across all the books came together to protect not only the heir but the town they’ve all come to love. Every single character came together to fight for their family and their home and it was beautiful.

This book invoked so many tears, both happy and sad, from the very beginning to the very end. I’m sad to see the end of the series, but it was the right time and the right way. I’m going to miss getting updates on my cast of characters (especially Snow and Quill)! That epilogue had me in tears almost the entire time.... Snow gets me every time!

Fantastic story, fantastic series, fantastic ending.

Fight for love

I’ve been alternating between reluctance and excitement for this book. I’ve anxiously awaited Poe’s story since the beginning of this series but at the same time, I didn’t want this series to end. Now it’s here and it is epic!

Evil is once agin threatening Haven Hart and it’s up to Poe to save his town. All the secrets are finally revealed and wow, they are Hart-shattering. I’m not going to spoil anything but will share that all our questions about Poe, his life, and how the events in Haven Hart tie in are answered.

To help fight the evil threatening Haven Hart, Poe reaches out for help and everyone gets involved. I loved seeing the interactions between them as a group and with their partners. Poe has lived with such a burden on his shoulders and I’m so glad that he learns he doesn’t have to do everything alone.

Poe’s insight and brilliance astounds me as he has a knack for choosing the best people for his projects. The amount and depth of love and loyalty he has for the people in his life that are important to him is breathtaking. I loved getting to see a new side of him with his tender and vulnerable moments. Also, I really want his bathroom.

Interspersed throughout the book were some creative and funny threats that evoked powerful imagery. Yet at the same time, I still get surprised when I see assassins being sweet. I don’t know why it continues to surprise me but it gives me all kinds of good feels each time. I also know what I want to dress up as for Halloween.

“My love, my life, my everything.” Raven’s Hart by Davidson King is everything a finale to an amazing series should be, and the ending is simply perfect.

The best wrap up.

Po has been a mystery from the very beginning and in this we finally get his story. That’s not even the best part for me though - the best part is the meditation circle besties

This Book!!! For anyone who has read this series, this book is the only way this series could have ended. Davidson King had me on the edge of my seat and biting my nails while crying through most of the book. We see all of our old favorites and get all of the snarky comments we have come to expect along with some surprises. This is a must read for fans of the Havens Hart series. Poe and Phin are an amazing couple! I will never be able to say enough about how much I loved this book!!

Absolute perfection

What a blow out way to end the series! I'm rather speechless at the moment, but only because I want to curl up and revel in Poe and Phin's story. 5 stars all the way, highly recommended. But trust me...you need to start from the beginning and work through all 7 books to truly feel the depth and power of Raven's Hart.

Finally, we get to learn more about Poe, what makes him tick, and the elusive Hart Family. I have been waiting for this conclusion and dreading it too. I don’t want this series ever to end. But as life goes all things must come to an end. I’ll have to reread Haven Hart over and over again. It has been an excellent adventure to take with these fantastic characters that Davidson King has created.
I was gripped from the beginning of Raven Hart right up to the end, and I still want more. I hope that Davidson King will write a short story on the children or maybe a whole new series based on them, especially Simon, Adelaide and Joey. I want to see their futures and have a glimpse in their lives.
Haven Hart Series must be read in order, or you’ll be a bit lost. It is a delightful read especially if you enjoy Action MM Romance Novels. Give it a try.

A worthy and fitting end to this series! This time it's finally Poe's turn to have his story told, and wow do we go out with a bang! The entire gang ends up together in this one: Poe (and his SO!) take the lead in a final showdown to save Haven Hart and everyone we've come to know and love throughout the series is here for this one. Snow, Christopher, Black, Riordan, Teddy, Lee/Jones/Ginger, even Simon has his screen time in this one. The mysteries of Haven Hart are finally revealed after all this time and the action is intense! Almost immediately we're drawn into this final battle and having everyone on screen in so many scenes is one of the highlights of this book. So not only do we see Poe get his HEA, but we watch the whole gang finally coalesce into the true "Avengers" they are (for lack of a better description).

Knowing what I know now about this book, would I still read it if I went back in time?
Definitely!

See below for the four criteria I use to decide whether and when to read a book

CHARACTERS: I found Poe and his SO to be more 'main character worthy' than Lee/Jones/Ginger from the previous book, so it was already a plus because I was so invested in them. We pretty much hit the ground running. Within the first chapters we see everything change so suddenly for Poe and realize exactly how much he's been holding on and is now barely holding on by a thread. He was such a background character throughout the series and by this point, it's really fun to watch him take center stage and be the true bad*** that he is! He easily holds his own with Black and Christopher and it's so clear why. We have such a host of characters in this one and honestly, we finally meet his SO and I thought that backstory was incredibly neat too! I won't say more there because none of it is mentioned in the blurb, so no spoilers!

PLOT: The final showdown. Now it's all of Haven Hart on the line. Not only does Poe need to protect it, but Black and Christopher and all the people in their worlds are on the line too. So the plot is fast-paced as they all come together and attempt to outwit and stay five steps ahead of our antagonist to keep Haven Hart from crumbling (sometimes literally!). The stakes are high, the action is high, but the balance feels so right. It feels like a challenge worthy of these major bosses of the city that they have to come together to handle and can only handle together. It's the best sort of found family!

EMOTIONAL INTENSITY: There is no good/bad here. Sometimes I just want a low-investment entertainment read whereas other times a high-stakes 'I need a therapist to recover' is what I need.

4:5/high. I think this one is high partly because we're now seven books in and I'm thoroughly invested in the world and the characters. At the same time, it's the finale of the series! Thankfully it isn't anything that left me anything but super entertained.

CATHARTIC FULFILLMENT: Is the emotional journey worth it? Do I finish this book feeling that I've crested the wave of the climactic moment and everything has been settled, leaving me settled and fulfilled?

95%. I do wish for that tiny little bit near the end with the final climactic aftermath as well as just a little more time with all the characters (re: a denouement long enough to match seven books worth), it was still a fulfilling end.

This review contains spoilers. Don't read if you don't want to encounter them.

This book was amazing! I received an ARC and I was so excited I read it in one sitting. Let me say this is the final book of this series and if you haven't read the others, you will be lost.

With this book, we final get to know Poe's backstory and how he is tied to the heir. It turns out Poe and Phin are childhood friends whos love for each other wasn't accepted by Phin's family. This causes problems for them both and they are forced to separate at a young age. I won't go into detail about their love affair, because I feel you must read it for yourself to get the full effect.

Now in present day, Poe's friends are trying to get him to come around more. Poe has basically been avoiding his friends because of all the issues that have been cropping up. But it becomes clear early on that he will have to rely on his friends if he wants to save the man and city he loves.

What I loved most about this book, is the heart. Learning about Poe and Phin was magically. They have such a powerful bond and I totally love them. These two have been through so much together, it was heartbreaking. Another thing I love about this book, is the bond between all parties. You have Black, the assassin, Chris, the mobster and Poe, the ringleader working together. You would not think that these men from different backgrounds would be able to work together effectively, but they do. Ms. King, wove these characters so beautifully that it wasn't hard to imagine them working together.

The minor downside I faced was some unanswered questions. Though not having them answered doesn't take anything away from the book. I can't help wonder, about them.

This was a spectacular ending to a great series. I'm sad to see it end, but I'm hopeful for the spinoff that is to come.

This was a great end to the main series. Everything tied together so well and I love how it all worked out. Let’s see what Simon is gonna get up to now that he’s all grown up!
