This book was brutal. I love splatterpunk. Unfortunately though with the genre, spatterpunk, you are met with poor storytelling and gore. Talia was not that. It was well written with the perfect amount of gore!
***Slight SPOILER below ***

Lots of snuff graphic imagery. I typically don’t like creature horror but this was a delightful revenge creature feature!

This is easily the most fucked up book I’ve ever read. I thought this was just going to be a book about the start of underground p0rn business, you know, like the book description says, but no. This was absolutely lethal. Violent. Descriptive. Sad. Talia was betrayed by the film producers and she gets her revenge on them, one by one. Talia is completely badass and just….🫣😳 Scary…

I don’t even know how to process this book. Did it leave an impression? Hell yes. More gore than I normally like, when it comes to helpless victims. I don’t have a weak stomach but this book tested my limits. The second half of the book I did enjoy, actually because I love revenge gore. Talia became quite the badass and I loved that she was taking out the bad guys in really gruesome ways.
