There's a cohort that grew up in the 1980s who came home after school, sat down in front of the TV, and caught both the Star Trek original series syndication and the Transformers cartoon (and maybe even the animated Trek too). This miniseries is for them, and probably not anyone else, because it's super cheesy. If you're one of those folks who thinks Captain Kirk as the mind behind an Enterprise that transforms into a huge robot is awesome, then you'll be greatly amused by this.

This series has got my number. Combining the 80s nostalgia of Transformers with the retro vibe of the 70s Trek cartoon works perfectly. It hints at a sequel and now that's all I want.
It's all I want.

This was fun but I'm pretty happy that it's not official canon. Also, bonus points that the artwork was reflective of both franchises' respective popular animation shows. I love that, but the story was nonsense.
