Engaging, secrets demanding to be discovered (even if it means no sleep for me!).

Bit of a Scooby Gang vibe to this. Ropa now has a kick-ass sidekick, Priya and a familiar (a scarf), Jomo (a junior Librarian)
However, there is a pleasingly complex heist going on and Ropa sees the possibility of lifting her family out of poverty for good. The other thing going for it is that Ropa is quite driven. Even when she's being heroic, there's still a core of needy self-interest.
Very much looking forward to the third volume
