In my 22 years of being alive, no book has ever made my cry until this one, this book had me sobbing in tears. No book has ever done that until this one. I would definitely recommend this book.

Wow. This author really knows how to weave a story. There are many great quotes, but this one might just become my forever favorite-

Buku ini menceritakan kisah seorang kakek yang bernama Ove, beliau tinggal sendirian. Awal mula diceritain masa lalu kakek Ove. Ternyata buku ini juga menceritakan perjuangan kisah cinta kakek Ove, dengan meninggalkan kenangan dari sosok yang dicintainya.

Tidak hanya itu, kakek Ove pun memiliki tetangga yang beraneka ragam. Dari ibu-ibu hamil yang mempunyai 2 anak kecil, kakek nenek yang tinggalnya berseberangan sama kakek Ove, pemuda yang menyebalkan hingga tetangga yang berisik. Dengan sikap kakek Ove yang keras, cuek, dan bicaranya ngirit. Pun mau tidak mau harus bersikap seperti itu karena beliau hanya tinggal sendirian di rumahnya. Tetapi lambat laun kakek Ove mulai terbuka sama tetangganya.

Alur ceritanya apik dan seru banget. Banyak sekali pengetahuan tentang berumah tangga, mensyukuri kehidupan yang dipunyai, menyayangi orang-orang disekitar kita selagi masih hidup, dan melakukan segala sesuatu yang penting saat ini karena masih ada yang mencintaimu diluar sana. Jadi sayangilah diri kalian!

This was a good story.  I love the grumpy old man.  Great ending too.
