One of the most enchanting books I've read in a long while. The Vine Witch reads like a delicious blend of Practical Magic, Chocolat, and un bon vin rouge.

It’s a little all over the place and is clearly a set up for further books in a series. But it was mostly enjoyable. I did not expect the ending.

Decent

Started well enough but the book was predictable. Was bored halfway into the book. The beginning had me drawn in.

This was a lovely little book, very low stakes. Unfortunately for me that means it was a bit boring, but I still enjoyed myself! I’ll read the other books from the series when I need a cozy bedtime book.

I listened to the audio book. It was entertaining.
The story was something that I haven't read before, it was a nice way to show a unique magical system.

I loved this book, I downloaded it on a whim, looking for a bit of a palette cleanser from my usual read.

It starts off with a witch in the midst of breaking a curse cast upon her seven years ago. She returns to her home, a manor set on a vineyard, to find that it has been sold to a city lawyer named Jean-Paul. The story is very unique and whimsical, and follows the vine witch, whose specialty is tending to the grapes and creating delicious unrivaled wine. The story is also laced with betrayal, revenge, and romance.

This was such a pleasant surprise, is very well written and makes me incredibly nostalgic for a place I've never been.
