The cover makes no sense.
I didn't like anything about this.

The idea is good. But Ali wish it had been drawn out more, explained more and all the events mentioned in the final chapter, fleshed out better.
It was a bit choppy and disjointed.

I received a copy of this from the author. All opinions are my own.

This was a decent and engage novella, the ending was a bit flat but overall there was a lot of great potential and made me want to check out more of the author's works to see what else she has! The story centers around Sarah, who meets Senator Powell when he comes to her home state of Wisconsin. He immediately thinks she looks just like him and his wife with her blue eyes, while she has grown up wondering why she had blue eyes with her parent's brown ones. The rest of the books follows both viewpoints and keeps the reader engaged to the end.

I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author via Voracious Readers Only and am leaving my honest review.
