although this is not a kid favourite - it has some great book lists for various ages. As an avid reader this book was not full of ideas that were new to me but a reminder of the importance of reading and of reading aloud.

This book has motivated me to make reading with my kids even more of a priority. The author convincingly lays out the proven benefits and gives great ideas for making reading time a success. I loved her booklists at the back and am looking forward to experiencing new reading adventures with my kids. I would recommend this book to anyone with children (educators too).
