War ganz süß eigentlich, aber jetzt nicht umwerfend toll für mich (
kann den hype nachvollziehen tho)

Weiß nicht ob ich noch mal was von Emily Henry lese, vielleicht lieber in meinen 20-ern

Emily Henry deserves all the praise she has received and more.

Only thing is Libby's apology/makeup felt lacking to me, but maybe that's just the eldest sister in me.

When I read the description of this book, I didn’t think I would relate to literary shark Nora. But the number of highlighted quotes and moments that left me sobbing in my partner’s arms proves that you can’t judge an archetype by her tropes.

I am an Emily Henry lover first and a reader second ☝️
no but fr following Nora and Libby to Sunshine Falls to sort out their own sibling relationship (amongst other things), coincidentally finding Nora's editorial rival
Mr. Big Dick himself
Charlie, and seeing the romance be the subplot of the whole story for a book this genre was so refreshing that I feel like it hit better the second time.
I do however wish the last chapter (not epilogue) was expanded on with one more inbetween chapter just for the sake of the pacing.

“That's life. You're always making decisions, taking paths that lead you away from the rest before you can see where they end. Maybe That's why we as a species love stories so much. All those chances for do-overs, opportunities to live the lives we'll never have. “

Another lovely escapist novel by Emily Henry. I’ll never not read her stories. The laughs, the tears, the witty and flirty banter between characters. It is everything I want and need from novels.

Queen Emily Henry has done it again….I was hooked within the first few pages, and absolutely devoured this book. Book Lovers had me smiling, laughing, emotional, contemplating, just all of the things. These books are so relatable, funny, heartwarming, reflective of the human experience - Emily Henry is just magic. Charlie may also now be my #1 Emily Henry love interest (sorry Gus)
