I went into this excited for the ff romance, but honestly stayed for the plot instead. I'm conflicted about how I feel about Aura & Ruby's relationship. It almost felt forced in a way...like a fuck you to everyone that taught them it was wrong to be together. I didn't feel a genuine connection in that sense. The only reason that connected them was because it was forbidden or taboo in my opinion.
I would have to go back to see how many times the word vibe was used, but it was excessive!! So much that I caught myself rolling my eyes so hard every time I came across it. Ruby called Aura "Vibe Girl" so much that it made the scenes feel childish/immature. I get that the premise of their relationship is supposed to be an unspoken connection. A vibe. It drove me so crazy that I almost dnf'ed for that alone.
As for the story itself, I enjoyed it and it wrapped up nicely. Some things were a tad predictable while others were shocking. It was pretty fast paced, which I loved! There are some pretty hot spicy scenes between Aura & Ruby too!

this shit is crazy bruh. i didn't realize how graphic it was either. there's also hella grammatical errors, but overall it's a captivating story and i love the lesbian representation.

Oh my lord this book!!! This is my first book by this lady and my first F/F story as I was reading I could tell that the arthur just poured her heart and soul into this book as the emotions will take you on a rollercoaster.
When I first saw the teasers and then the blurb I knew I had to read this book and I'm so glad I was given the chance to read it, because this book is just wow totally not what I expected it was so much more. This is definitely one to read in 2020 over and over again.
