I love stories that take place in one day. The characters are flawed, but I think that's the point. My only criticism is that I wished the moments of the past were in their own chapters. They often came off as halting the present events.

The last 70ish pages picked up and made the story a bit more enjoyable, but overall I didn’t connect with the characters or the story. There was too much repetitive-ness and moping and it felt unnecessarily drawn out.
