Oh, this book was fun. I know a lot of people didn't like it as much as the first one, but I thought it was rather brilliant. Blythe should win a best character award because ever scene she was in held my attention. She is such a strong willed young woman and all she went through in the first book didn't dim that about her at all. If anything, it made her stronger. I also loved watching Signa and Death grow within this book. They were quite magnificent as well. I really enjoyed all that occurred. Some things I predicted, while others, I had not which kept this really interesting. I do have to say, that ending did have me rather angry that I have to wait another year to know what happens. All in all though, I enjoyed this. Curious to learn more about Life and Fate!
