The actual writing was dreadful. So many cliches and cringey phrases were used in just 3 pages that I couldn’t even make it past that point.
I don't usually write such overtly negative reviews, but when it comes to this one, I have to as a PSA to anyone who was told they need to read this book by booktok. For the love of GOD, DO NOT READ THIS HOT GARBAGE.
I have never in my life read something so full of corny cliches that made me actually cringe. I really should've DNF'd this book one of the 50 times my mind was telling me to, but I'm not a quitter.
First of all, romanticizing the fact that they waited until her 18th birthday to kiss for the first time and then later talking about how he lusted after her far before that is gross. The whole angry billionaire "I didn't come from this" while acting 100% like an entitled billionaire eye. roll.
Then to say she was a virgin and just immediately into BDSM without any questioning merely because ~she read it in one of her books~ was so unbelievable.
On top of all of that, the book is just so poorly written. Like tenth grader writing for class poorly written. I love a good love story, but this was just so mediocre. I can't believe there are so many more to this series. Just. Don't.
