I found the reading experience hard to get through, and I found I just did not care. there was not much of a story, just a series of unrelated entries with a vague plot throughout. I would have liked it more if it was a essay collection or something.

I didn’t enjoy reading this book but it was interesting. It challenges you to explore a range of themes but I just didn’t quite like it. I don’t think the references will age well as it is very of its time.

Girl, Stand Up the novel. This book felt like fighting with your friend over and over again about how she should break up with her horrible boyfriend!!!
Patel was too real though when describing the obsession one can have with someone they despise on social media. I’ve certainly been there.
Messy narrator, inconsistent timeline, political commentary. What more could you want?
