this book was a series of very vivid and captivating essays by emily ratajkowski on femininity, gender, sexuality, mental health, honesty just about anything and everything.
emily’s writing was so vivid that i could perfectly visualize everything that she was saying. every heartbreak that she described, i could feel. every high that she felt, i could also feel.
i never would have imagined that these essays would move me the way they did, but i would sincerely recommend them to almost everyone. beyond how impactful and moving they are, they’re also just a beautiful and *sometimes* fun read.

This book challenged my own biases and internalized sexism. I think some of the author’s privileges were glossed over, but this is a book about her body, not those of others, so I think I can have grace.
