This isn't a book about feminism or "empowerment," however, it does illuminate exactly why individualism and "personal responsibility" masquerading as feminism will never save us.
I think the book almost gets there at points, but not quite.
Anyway, enough of my thoughts! Read this by Andrea Long Chu

despite not exactly being a fan of emily ratajkowski this book was interesting in the sense that it details points in her life, her experience and thoughts whilst starting out and making a name for herself in the modelling industry and the trajectory in which her career went. i will never understand the modelling industry so it is nice to have a little insight to the thoughts of someone in it.
