Ein schöner Schreibstil, ich war sehr interessiert. Und natürlich ein wichtiges Thema (nicht Schach sondern Krieg). 

I read extracts of all three English translations and my favourite was Starritt's. I really liked the phrase "Abbreviatur der Welt" and he was the only one who translated it as "abbrevations of the world" rather than "image/vision of the world" (although I'm not sure why he put it in the plural).
