I did really enjoy this book.
Oh. Let me just get this out there. Trigger/content warnings Need to be checked before cracking this book open. There’s a Lot of abuse, a lot of kink that some people might find ‘too much’ for them, there’s just a lot and you should be informed before you read.

It had some things that I usually stay away from, but they were written really well and I ended up really liking them in this book.

But there were a few things I wish we got more of, or any at all in some cases.

First one is the MM relationships, they were hinted at but nonexistent on page.
I would’ve really liked to have seen them together and working through their relationship too.

Then Ryker. I get that his whole deal is that he’s broody and standoffish and rejects affection like it’s some disgusting slug trying to eat him. But we didn’t get hardly Anything from him in this book. He felt more like an outsider who sometimes pops up to play than an actual partner to any of them.
I just wish we had gotten One good scene with just him. (You get a little somethin somethin in the bonus scene if you sign up for the newsletter, but I still would’ve preferred something in the actual book. That type of thing shouldn’t have been ‘bonus’ content.)

I don’t know.
I really liked the kink and the play aspects.
The relationships and pacing could’ve used a little work, in my opinion.

Multiple Daddies?!

Absolutely love a good why choose DDLg book and this was amazing. The dark elements were fantastic and all the doting daddies were so swoon worthy. Can’t wait to dive into Dr. Eric’s book next!

Dnf @25%. Absolutely not. Not only is the plot so unrealistic, but the way they jumped into kink day on? This is gross.

I loved this! The Damsel was Damseling but it was all still realistic enough w/o being OTT.

The relationship between the three guys was super weird though 😭 and I would've loved more development between Rkyer and Cosima earlier.

Good discussions about BDSM! Especially the machocism/sadism between Ryker and Cosima (once they do start something).

I like elements of this book. I remember thoroughly enjoying it. But it’s not as much for me since I read it again- I tend to be a ‘passenger princess’ on my first read through of a book, not much critical thinking. The FMC and main POV (we get all the MMCs POV’s as well, but only as needed) is REALLY into pain. That’s shown in a lot of her worldview, which shows great writing, but as someone with a different worldview, it’s just less fun to read. Besides which, while I’m drawn to age play books, there’s elements of it that sometimes make me deeply uncomfortable, and some of those elements show up in this book.
Ultimately, if you like age play, all the major elements of bdsm, and some angst that’s neatly resolved, you’ll probably enjoy the book. The fact that I could enjoy it more without the s and m is neither here nor there.
