It was a very exciting novel that I could not put down.
A lot didn’t sit right with me within the first few chapters. No. Just not for me!!

This is one of the best books I have read this year, and since it's ending soon I'm glad to end it on a good note.
People are sleeping on this thriller. Listen, the book isn't even 400 pages long, and yet, it makes you get so attached to the characters that it's impossible not to feel some catharsis as the book unfolds and... the plot happens. Also, the romance and the secrets that were unfolding throughout the story were impossible to overlook and just added to the overall attachment I had to the characters.
This is peak good usage of tropes. I can't say enough a lot without spoiling the entire plot.
My personal favourite characters were Helix, Aidan, Henry and Georgia, they were just the most engaging. But the other characters were just as entertaining and fun on-screen.
The prose and syntax were so, very simple. But, I think that's a point in the book's favour -- It helps with pacing and shows that you don't need to be a walking dictionary to write a good story, much less when fancy imagery isn't the point. Especially since it was so gripping that I couldn't get my eyes off it until the very end.
Anyway, I'm a bit sad that it's over. And I'll forever remember these characters, I think. My heart died with some of them.
