An absolutely stunning novel! The prose is hypnotic and draws you in even in its saddest moments. Even after five years of reading it, it’s stuck with me. Definitely a recommendation for those who like mythological retellings akin to Madeline Miller.

This is probably one of the best books I have read in a long, long time. I stayed up until 5 AM finishing it. It is imaginative, thoughtful, and a totally unique take on the Mahabharat.
