This is probably one of the best books I have read in a long, long time. I stayed up until 5 AM finishing it. It is imaginative, thoughtful, and a totally unique take on the Mahabharat.

I put a lot of stuff in the content warnings, but it isn't super graphic. If you read Circe and were fine reading what was described in that book, you'll be fine reading this.
