Sometimes you just need a cute, gay pick me up of a book that celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community, and the individuals within it. I loved how Blake created such relatable characters starting with Delilah Green, herself.
Mysterious, seductive, somewhat cold, Delilah is every bit a badass as she is a lesbian queen.
I loved how Blake created a mature mother struggling with the new realities and wanting something for herself, and damn it I loved that Blake gave us that O that we all deserve!

I greatly enjoyed the character development in this book. In a stark contrast to the two-dimensional cast sometimes found in romance novels, these characters had nuance and grew emotionally throughout the story. I liked the writing in general, but found the plot a little boring.
