I found the book a little slow? Idk if it makes sense to say that about a collection of essays. Maybe I was expecting something different.

It took me awhile to read the book but that’s on my lack of free time not the book. I loved how the essays were separated but sometimes i wanted a reminder on the year but other then that I loved the book. It was nice to see someone living their 20s without it being overdramatic, the book was real. I kinda wished their was more her sexuality cause i related it to so much.

So fun to read these essays. Chloe Caldwell has a knack for picking out the minute details of a life that give the greater themes of her essays life and color. This feels like the older-sister companion to her first collection of essays, "Legs Get Led Astray" (which is funny, since I read the first in my earlier 20s and am reading this now, at 28) and is extremely relatable (except it sounds like Chloe's been to way cooler parties than me). Felt like getting a series of eloquent emails from a friend.

Nothing really wowed me about these essays. The writing wasn’t fantastic and the stories were sometimes funny but her overall demeanor really affected how I enjoyed these stories. Entertaining but definitely not worth reading
