Demise of a Self Centered Playboy is a small-town romance that has so much love, family and hilarious moments, I could not get enough of it! Denver is the definition of trouble but when the death of a friend leaves him half of a business and a new partner Cleo, things are going to change!
The chemistry between Denver and Cleo is hilarious and intense and left me swooning! I cannot get enough of the Bailey Family! Each book in this series just keeps getting better and better!! I can’t even pick a favorite at this point, I love them all!

Oh Denver Bailey, how the playboy has fallen. I LOVE the Baileys. I think I fall more and more in love with this family with each siblings book, but Denver may just be my favorite. I devoured this story and didn’t want it to end.
Denver inherits his mentors, Chip Dawson, business when he passes. The downside? He has to split the business with Chip’s daughter, Cleo Dawson, a city girl that is pretty clueless when it comes to outdoor adventures in Alaska.
I loved Denver and Cleo. I loved their relationship, it was a very enemies to friends to lovers vibe. Denver has a reputation in town as a playboy, however, there is a reason for it and the man also has a super sweet, romantic side. These two had chemistry and I couldn’t get enough of it. I loved that the entire Bailey clan welcomed Cleo with open arms and made her feel instantly welcome into their family.
This is another MUST READ book in The Baileys series and I can be read as a standalone, however, reading the previous books in the series is 1000% worth it! I can’t wait to see what is in store for the Baileys in Phoenix’s book!

So many emotions!!! Denver stole my heart!
Denver Bailey and Cleo’s story was so amazing! I love a good enemies-to-lovers story especially when the chemistry and emotions run high. When Chip passes away, he leaves half of his business to Denver, and the other half to his daughter, Cleo. This shocks them both and they have no idea how to run a company, let alone do it without killing each other.
Watching them interact, navigate the business, make decisions together, and fight their growing attraction for the other was perfect. They were the absolute perfect match for each other constantly pushing each others boundaries and testing limits. Both of them struggled but together, they came out even stronger on the other side of grief and loss.
As with the rest of this series, I love that we get to see the whole Bailey family and get to catch up with them as the main characters find their happily ever after. This whole family and the town of Lake Starlight own my heart and I don’t want it back! This may be one of my most favorite series of all time! I can’t wait to see what happens next! I am impatiently waiting for Phoenix's book!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

This book! Wow!
Somehow, this was my first book by Piper Rayne, but it definitely won't be my last, especially the Bailey family. I loved ever character from this family and world, I wanted to be part of it. The true sense of family you got from each sibling made me feel committed to all of the relationships and couples from this world, even having only read about them in one book. I will 100% be going back through the previous books to learn about the older siblings stories. Although this book was book 5 in the series, I didn't feel like I missed any major plot points from the previous books, only that I was curious about the other couples' stories.
Denver was, as the title indicates, a playboy, however I didn't get that impression from him in this book, but then I have no idea how he had previously acted without Cleo present in his life. He was, however, very cocky, charming and confident in his ability to catch Cleo. But really, he just needed someone to love him as much as he could love someone, which was so endearing and sweet, you really felt for him on a number of occasions.
Cleo was a super strong sassy woman who stood up for herself throughout, even when she was still unsure of herself and her place in the world. I loved how she believed in herself so much and wasn't going to let something as big as running a business with her enemy stand in her way from what she wanted. I really loved her character, she was relatable in many ways and the way she balanced out Denver made her perfect for him.
Denver and Cleo worked so together as a couple, he brought out her fun side and she made him open up and realise what he was missing by not letting anyone in. I really liked them as a couple, one of the only downsides was how little you see of them together, I wanted more time before the drama begins.
I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good enemies-to-lovers book, but this has the bonus of being set in the beautiful location of Alaska! I was lucky enough to receive an advanced reader copy in return for an honest review from Wildfire Marketing Solutions, but this book was so good, I would've picked it up anyway! I can't wait for book 6 to see what the Bailey family get up to next!

Plenty of sexual tension, witty banter and mind-blowing turn of events...Piper Rayne has given us another INCREDIBLE Bailey family 5-Star read! I always know when I pick up a Piper Rayne book that there is going to be plenty of humor, but this book had so much more than its usual dose of humor. I loved Demise Of A Self-Centered Playboy. It was full of love and family and it ticked all the boxes for me.
Denver Bailey's story was an amazing adventure with laughs and all the feels. And I loved Denver and Cleo! Watching these two go from enemies to friends to lovers was such a wonderful transition. They fell for each together gradually and finding out that Denver was such a sweetheart and a romantic took this book to a whole new level.
As always, Piper Rayne delivers a wonderful book full of surprises on how a Bailey can fall in love. I loved seeing the rest of the Bailey family! Another amazing story and I can't wait to see what happens in the next Bailey adventure.

When I finished story about Liam and Savannah I immediately hopped on the next one. After first three chapters I hated Cleo. Almost a year later I made mysefl read the whole book. I now feel so stupid, because I love Cleo and Danver's story so much. I even teared up.
This Bailey has left me with so many emotions! Oh Denver Bailey..... how the mighty playboy has fallen!!! Denver was the one Bailey that by his own proclamation would never fall in love or marry, he just wasn't the type. Cleo was struggling to find herself and where she belonged and it didn't hurt that she LOVED to drive Denver crazy. What happens when the two people who love to drive each other crazy are left to run a business together? Let's just say there's lots of sexual tension, witty banter and a turn of events that will leave you mind-blown! Piper Rayne has given us another INCREDIBLE Bailey family 5-Star read!
