Denver and Cleo captured my heart from the very beginning! Denver completely stole my heart in this one. Denver has his reasons for how he is, but he is just freaking amazing! You won’t be disappointed it is wonderful! This one is filled with a whole lot of witty banter and steamy sexy scenes.
If you have read the first four books then you think you know Denver Baliey but let me tell you there is more to this Man of Mystery. Cleo and Denver have lost someone and are now trying to find a way to keep his business alive. But will their hate for one another be too much for them to deal with the day to day of Lifetime Adventures?
I don’t think I have even taken 20 minutes to read two chapters in my life – that is how emotional I was while reading this book. This writing duo brought so much to Denver and Cleo's story that words are not coming to me. But I can say that I’m really looking forward to the next book.

Plenty of sexual tension, witty banter and mind-blowing turn of events...Piper Rayne has given us another INCREDIBLE Bailey family 5-Star read! I always know when I pick up a Piper Rayne book that there is going to be plenty of humor, but this book had so much more than its usual dose of humor. I loved Demise Of A Self-Centered Playboy. It was full of love and family and it ticked all the boxes for me.
Denver Bailey's story was an amazing adventure with laughs and all the feels. And I loved Denver and Cleo! Watching these two go from enemies to friends to lovers was such a wonderful transition. They fell for each together gradually and finding out that Denver was such a sweetheart and a romantic took this book to a whole new level.
As always, Piper Rayne delivers a wonderful book full of surprises on how a Bailey can fall in love. I loved seeing the rest of the Bailey family! Another amazing story and I can't wait to see what happens in the next Bailey adventure.

Demise of a Self-Centered Playboy will bring out the adventurer in you! Be prepared for witty banter and lots of laughter while reading this new addition to The Baileys series. The character growth was the best part for me as a reader, and I loved watching Denver and Cleo each come into their own. I'll be the first to admit, this is my favorite book in the series so far, and that's a huge deal, considering how much I love this family! Another hit for Piper Rayne!!!

DNF @ 30%. While I love many of the books in this series, I couldn’t get through this one. I tried going to the next book and just reading this one off and on, but I wasn’t enjoying it enough to want to actually go back to it. The book prior to this one, and the book following it are both great. I didn’t like the heroine, Cleo. I liked Denver, but didn’t feel any chemistry between him and Cleo.
I also didn’t care for the story. The whole scene just isn’t my thing.
I hated to DNF this. I’ve enjoyed many of Piper Rayne’s other books. They’re great authors. This one didn’t do it for me, but we all have personal preferences. My DNF of this one doesn’t reflect my views on their writing. This was purely a story based/character opinion for me.
