This book was slow but at the same time hard to keep up with. It jumped between topics and times and thoughts too often in my opinion - perhaps a realist portrayal of how a person’s mind works when they are reflecting on their life, but difficult to keep up with. Somebody who has a better understanding of history and British politics may have more appreciation for the book, as this theme contributed to me losing interest.
