This was good, I enjoyed the Irish setting and the more poetic style of writing. I liked that the story slowly unravels itself, letting you piece together what happened in Daisy's past, and how events might repeat in the future.
However while this was a really interesting paranormal mystery, I felt like I was missing some pieces towards the end and felt that this really needs a sequel to wrap the story up better. I really liked the bond between Daisy and Nina, so the ending was a little disappointing for me.

I'm neither here nor there with this book. I was more interested in Daisy's past than Nina's present haunting. For a while I wasn't sure it was going anywhere, but when it did get somewhere, it was interesting enough. Sullivan's writing is really solid , but it never quite felt as atmospheric as I'd have like. I cannot fault Mansergh-Wallace's narration. She really made the writing come to life. Although the plot didn't quite grip me, I will say the characters feel so alive and the way friendships are written feels very real.

This is a great spooky season read! Although I found it slightly slow to start, it did keep me hooked, and I wanted to discover what was going on. I really liked Disy and Nina, and there were a few small twists throughout. I will admit I did still feel slightly confused at the end, but overall, I enjoyed it!

This is a paranormal book that will leave you in shock....
This book is medium paced, I think around a month and a half passes from the start to end, but it's never mentioned. The beginning was quite confusing, but after 50 pages or so I understood what was happening.
The plot was extremely unique, I've definitely never read anything like it. A girl who is connected in some way to future-reading violence-loving paranormal creatures? Very interesting!
The characters were as developed as they needed to be. If more had been told, the book wouldn't be as gripping. Daisy was a fantastic protagonist, and I quite liked Nina.
I was delighted with the queer rep, a bi protagonist, sapphic sc, and enby sc. Megan, the non-binary friend of Daisy, speaks of the way people are transphobic to them, which was surprising considering it didn't link to the book's themes, but refreshing to know that authors aren't shying away from real issues even when they aren't plot-central.
