Tucker and Kane are two new characters who are going to join Sigma Force or at least work with them in the next story, I suppose and this short story - Sigma Force 7.5 introduces them.
Tucker and Kane work well together, Kane is a dog with a Major rank from K-9 unit in Afghanistan. In this short story, they rescue a woman which spirals into Nazi tressure buried in a cemetery.

I love Tucker and Kane and I love Rollins but to be totally honest I was starting to get bored with the Sigma Force novels so I am so excited that he is introducing some new characters! I really loved their appearance in the last book and I can't wait for the full length Tucker and Kane novel this Spring!

Short story. A quick introduction to former Army Ranger, Tucker Wayne, and his military working dog, Kane. They are in Budapest, Hungary when Tucker observes a woman being followed by several men. He intervenes not knowing the circumstances. It leads to a Jewish cemetery and stolen gold looted by the Nazis. Wayne is a free lancer who relishes his independence. We’ll see more of this duo in the next book in the Sigma series.

Short story, very short. New characters that I had no attachment to and a storyline that just didn't grab me.

Magical readathon Orillium: Conduit – Staff: book from a series
Globalni ciljevi: nastavak serijala

This book was really hard for me to get into. I had become attached to Sigma and the recurring characters there that Tucker Wayne and Kane were hard to get into. Once I did however I really did like it. However the part I can never get used to is where the story I being told from the perspective of Kane. Still it helped get ready for their introduction I to the Sigma universe.

I have a soft spot for well-written animal characters (except fr Koontz's dogs who are too saccharine) and Kane is definitely the high point of this short story for me. There's nothing very extraordinary about the story. It is a solid thriller with a great relationship between Tucker and Kane.
For a deeper dive into their relationship and capabilities, check out Bloodline, in the Sigma series.
