I started off confused mainly because of the main character Kitty. I went back and forth between liking and hating her and it wasn't until I was three quarters of the way through the book that I decided I liked her. Kitty is a journalist. When we first meet her she's regretful because she unknowingly falsely accuses someone on national television of harmful and damaging things. Not too much later we find out how the backlash affected her life and career, and not the man she falsely accused. This is what confused and annoyed me about her through much of the book, the back and forth of her feelings. She eventually starts researching an article based on a list of one hundred names that was going to be an written by her friend and mentor who passes away suddenly. What I really liked about the book was all the people who made up the list of names. Their stories made me want to keep reading and in turn made Kitty more likable, which I was ultimately glad for. Despite not fully connecting with the character and not liking the writing style I still kept on readng, since I wanted to figure out why those 100 names were on the list. All in all the book couldn't convince me.

I haven't read a book in one sitting for a while. And I've never read any of Ahern's books before which I am definitely going to remedy. I was completely hooked from the opening and I just could not put it down. I was drawn into the lives of these wonderful characters and feel like I've just watched a movie! Thoroughly enjoyed devouring this and can't wait to read more of her work.

Truthfully, I am wishing that it is not the end of the book yet. There are so many stories to explore and I am fervently praying Ahern is not finish with them. But I know that for Kitty Logan, her story was revealed and it has to rest.

5 stars for Cecelia Ahern's inspiring book. Once again, Ahern wrote magically and taught her readers to feel--to believe again. :')
