After a lot of trial and error of trying to read a book past the first chapter, this book was the first that succeeded and I'm grateful for it. But I'm past the competition and it's just not gripping me anymore. I'm in this slump in the first place because I forced myself to finish a book I didn't want to so I'm not doing that again.

A great story and easy read. An epic quest is the backdrop for this character based story.

Oh my goodness! This book was such an emotional rollercoaster for me. I really love books where I feel attached to the characters, and this was a great example of that. Can't wait for the next book!
Spin The Dawn listemde olup bir türlü okuyamadığım bir kitaptı. Bu zamana kısmetmiş.
Konusu oldukça ilgi çekici. Dili çok akıcı. Fantastik ögeler barındırmasına rağmen okuma konusunda bana hiç zorluk çıkarmadı. Sadece dili değil sürükleyicilik açısından da başarılıydı kitap. Okumam çok uzun sürmesine rağmen ne zaman elimde alsam bıraktığım yerden beni alıp götürdü. Kitaptan hiç sıkılmadım ama birkaç eksik noktası olduğunu düşünüyorum. Kitap 3 bölümden oluşuyor. Aslında üstünde detaylı düşünülse her biri ayrı ayrı kitap olabilecek potansiyele sahip olayları içeriyordu özellikle 'The Journey' kısmı. Daha uzun ve detaylı okumak isterdim. Edan ve Maia'nın yakınlaşma sahneleri bana az geldi ve tam olarak hisleri bana aktarılmış gelmedi. Maia ve Edan çok iyi yaılmış karakterlerdi. Çok severek okudum devamını da merak ediyorum.

The writing was illustrative and engaging in the first half and I loved how the analogies always linked to the whole tailoring theme, given that it’s the whole driving force of the book.
But the romance felt lack-lustre, like I didn’t really believe in it. It felt too fast and lacking depth. Also, the second half of the book lacked the tension it needed given how high the stakes were. Again, the writing felt rushed and their emotions weren’t fleshed out enough for me to actually feel what the characters were feeling.
An okay first book, but not interesting enough for me to read the next book.
