Well written, 3rd person would have been nice but still a fairly captivating story.

I started this with the audio book. I do not recommend that. The narration was terrible. I sent it back to the library early since I had the ebook.

I like the magic system and that the heroine has a disability. That makes it really interesting. Raina is a little one dimensional but I guess when your whole world is rocked in a day and you are running for your life things change. There was a bit of instalove but Raina seems to be a person who’s a little on the reckless side. She was going to kill him and then she got to know him and now she loves him. They have been through a lot in the 12 days this book happens over. I guess you can fall I love that fast.

I’ll read the rest to see how the story ends at some point.

The only reason I’m not giving this a full 5 stars is because it became confusing at times. The plot is so vast, but so good, I was getting lost in all the action. Love, love, love this book.
