Interesting read. Took me quite some time to get into the story. Not the biggest fan of the authors style, some chapters I skipped completely (don't need to read lists of random words, although I get that it's a stylistic choice).

Das Miroloi ist ein Klagelied für einen Verstorbenen.
Auf der Schönen Insel im Schönen Dorf lebt ein namenloses Mädchen, es ist ein Findling und wird nie ein Miroloi gesungen bekommen, also singt es sich sein eigenes Totenlied in 128 Strophen. Es singt von den Frauen, die nicht lesen und schreiben können und den ganzen Tag arbeiten müssen, von den Männern, die die Gesetze machen, von der Religion, die einfach umgeschrieben werden kann, von der Ablehnung jeglichen Fortschritts, von der Liebe und der Freundschaft und dem Anders sein.
Es hat einige Strophen gebraucht, um ganz auf der Schönen Insel anzukommen, die gar nicht so schön, weil archaisch-patriarchal ist. Dann irgendwann aber ist man mittendrin und will dem namenlosen Mädchen helfen, das alles in Frage zu stellen.
