I enjoyed this book and liked learning more about the goddesses. I just didn’t feel super connected to the characters, and even though the plot kept me interested, the story overall didn’t have the spark I was hoping for.
Ok, ok. Kinda love our blood born conqueror!! I find the blood born a little scary, but falling for Atrius made SO excited for the next duet! I also always like Acaeja, so getting a peak into the Arachessen was fun. Love the relationship Sylina and Atrius have - overall really enjoyed it 🩸

I really enjoy Clarissa’s writing. She knows how it writes her romances and plots well, and I also love how she fleshes out her characters well when you’re reading the book, before they even get together. She writes a really well done slow burn.
And I absolutely loved the premise of this magic system. The way the Arachessen don’t use their eyes and use their own blindfolds is really unique and I have never seen that before.
I also have to give props to Clarissa for never mixing up daytime and nighttime because I often forgot. And also the way that she integrates small things into the story that shows that is completely in the dark, such as saying “good evening” when someone wakes up and so on really shows how much effort she puts into these books.

I loved it so much.
Sylina and Atrius completely won me over their slow burn was tense, emotional, and so worth it. Sylina’s strength and Atrius’s hidden layers made them such a perfect pair to root for. The world felt dark and addictive, with the thread seeing magic adding such a cool twist. Honestly, it’s enemies to lovers done right and I couldn’t put it down
