Honestly, the main reason I rated this one low is just personal preference. I’m not really into war-heavy or strategy-driven fantasy. I'm a romantasy girly through and through.

I read Slaying the Vampire Conqueror right after finishing The Ashes and The Star-Cursed King, which I ADORED, so I went in with pretty high expectations. But I think no story will ever hit the same way Oraya and Raihn’s did
