Not sure if this novella is worth the read, but it was fun to see another part of the Crowns of Nyaxia world.

Crushed this in one day. Carissa never disappoints - my only regret is not reading this before reading The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk,
because I think Sylina and Atrius’ cameo in that book would’ve hit even harder if I’d known their story
! Could not be more eager/anxious for Nyaxia 5

I love this world and enjoyed the book! Carissa Broadbent never disappoints, and I would recommend. It’s fitting as a novella for the second duology, which focuses a lot on emotional journeys and religious trauma. I expected the general ending of this book so I was kind of dreading the last 100 pages as I was reading. I’m excited to see how Atticus and Sylina come in  to the next books!!

Nyaxia never ceases to amaze in how petty and cruel she is. Of all the gods, Acaeja seems the most reasonable. Anyway, this one had a pretty predictable plot twist at the end but it was fun to read and see it play out. I do enjoy how different the characters are from one book to the next - There is no commonality between Atrius and Raihn or Oraya and Vivi. I also love how each of the love stories in this world are built on a solid foundation of friendship and respect before the romantic stuff happens.
