My Thoughts:
I was not expecting Dark Inside to be well as dark as it was. Such an amazing novel that has left me wondering what would humanity be like if something like this were to actually happen.
A novel that has left me with questions about humanity and questions to whether we would really loose ourselves or if we would be able to keep it together if our world as we new it literally came to an end.
I was extremely thrilled with Dark Inside. I thought this novel was absolutely amazing. The character’s where great. I loved how Jeyn wrote the story from all the different point of views of the characters. I loved how she was not afraid to hold back with her words.
To me it seems like Jeyn had a clear picture in her mind of what the world would be like if all of the human race lost their humanity and civilization came crumbling down around us and I felt like I was in her world with her. Her descriptions were amazing and the world she created had me in fear.
I am absolutely thrilled with Dark Inside and I think that Jeyn did such a wonderful job with this novel. A book that I am thrilled that i was able to read and I am so glad I did. Dark Inside is a novel that I know I will go back to and re read.

A new take on the apocalyptic genre. It had its moments of suspense and then it really had its moments of note brought action. Just ok for me.

A great zombie series. I adore zombie books, and this was a great example of it done well. It had that edge-of-your-seat suspense, so much action, and a good range characters that you really feel for. Definitely an enjoyable new series that I would recommend to all.

I enjoyed this if only for its interesting and action filled plot. The fear inside the characters is brought out well and I liked how strong all of the kids were during the book, I know that I wouldn't have been able to do it. my only picky thing about this book is I don't like the way its been set out much but I think that's properly just be being finickety

There has been an earthquake and since then some people just ain’t been themselves lately.
Some folks seem to have been possessed by demons or just rage itself, but no one is safe.
The bad ones, called “Baggers” look like us and talk like us, they were us but at some point their eyes went black and they wanted to kill everyone.
It’s not a light situation where you ask gently
“Are you a bagger?”
And their all like ….

So we have a group of teens trying to survive, on the run, no hydro, no heat and winters coming, I cannot wait to start the sequel!!

anything that happened after season 5 has been embarrassingly bad.

What happens if humanity shuts off in 98% of people? What prevented people from acting on their basic instincts is out the window. Oh maaan, but this is my kind of book!! Now four teenagers are trying to reach family, escape their own demons, find a way to safety with others, etc. We don't know why their humanity has been saved, or if it will disappear in the future. Which is pretty freaky, if you think about it.
I love the discussions about previous civilizations that crumbled, and if that's what is happening to them in the book. Can they fight back against killers, especially if they're loved ones and friends. Clementine, Mason, Michael, and Aries (but she's a Gemini) are trying to find a place in the new world and survive long enough! Fast paced and gripping, I loved Dark Inside and cannot wait to see what happens in Rage Within!!

The author had a good story idea but is a really crappy writer in need of a better editor. A tiny building that could barely fit the town of 1000. The unconscious boy who speaks. An overly pregnant woman. Taste of copper heavy in the air. Hilariously bad but entertaining.

Very terrifying. The references to ancient civilizations' downfalls being caused by the same creepiness happening in the book was eerie
Incredible suspense in this one. Plot doesn’t advance until the end. Likable characters. Too many narrators?
