Good book. Told from three different perspectives. Kept me engaged.

I found it quite unpredictable and predictable at the same time. it's interesting.
I already predicted what would happen and who the killer was. i think John meant to make it so obvious ?
I just didnt expect that he killed her. I hoped for a happy ending for her.
I also didn't expect that he would fine his sister.

the story makes sense. the motive of the killer makes sense. everything linked together. it's indeed a good story.
I rated 4 stars because it wasn't his best work, but its still good.

So many twist and turns, it kept me hooked the whole way through.

Highly recommended.

I enjoyed this book. It was fast moving and a great storyline to it. However I did find it repeated itself over again in places. The book also had other things in it I felt that didn't need to be in it.

“But if her job and her family life had taught her just one thing, it was that people very rarely got the end they wished for or deserved.”

Another brilliant book by John Marrs!

Gory and thrilling!

I have read a few of the authors books before and thought I knew what to expect from him, but this one was a bit different. I love police procedural stories, so this proved to be right up my street.

I have read a lot of this kind of story, but have not come across super-recognisers before. It definitely brought a whole new element to the story for me. Joe as a character is a bit of an enigma, and I loved reading about him. The final two lines in the book gave us a hint of what could come next and I am already desperate to know more.

A great read for fans of the author and new readers alike. Many thanks to Netgalley for providing a copy.

Not my favorite of John Marrs, this one actually takes last place in my rankings, but still kept me intrigued. DS Becca Vincent is chasing an elusive killer but unbeknownst to her, he is watching her every move. A little too much was going on to keep everything straight but then when the end came it felt pretty anticlimactic (but very gory).
