Wow. I was searching for a good sort of queer murder mystery type book as I just finished one and I seem to be on a path that I'm quite enjoying so far.
This book was superbly written. The characters were all really interesting and well thought out, the storyline to me was based a lot more in reality than some of the other types of books on this topic. But the book itself just was literally a chef's kiss. It really took me by surprise (which I am not sure why) at how invested I got. So much so I read through it in just a couple of days because I was that invested in the story. I am pretty excited to see this is going to be a series. Cav is a great character and I look forward to see what's in store for him.
If you are a fan of the TV show Veronica Mars, I would say you would definitely love a book like this. Now I need to check out Josh Aterovis's other books. Highly recommend.
