OMG I finally finished this! Four novels and 56 short stories. One thousand, one hundred and twenty two pages of tiny font on large pages. I have been reading this for almost ten years, in between other books, and at times not looking at it for a year or two. But i love the world of Holmes and Watson!

Listening to this audiobook took quite awhile considering it was 64 hours, but it was worth it. I can see why Sherlock Holmes is a classic. Arthur Conan Doyle set the bar high for detective novels with his intelligent, hyper observant, likeable Holmes. The only downside was that some of the cases would have such obscure clues that there was no way you could suspect the culprit, but then again half the fun was listening to Sherlock Holmes explain how he solved the cases. And of course his friend Dr Watson was a great character who added to how enjoyable the stories were, as well as being the narrator for a good majority of them.
