My mother's favorite books in the world, so I had to read it to get to know who she was. Love the mystery, however so weird since I have become accustomed to the CSI world.

Sherlock Homes was amazing, most of the time he surprised me on who was the culprit!!

The first book I ever chose to read outside of school. Doyle’s work has piqued my interest in literature. I have read it 3 times since and still it is my go-to book when I just want to escape. It’s easy to jump between different stories or just chug on through them chronologically. It’s amazing that these are over 100 years old. Timeless classics.

I read this audio collection for the #NoPlaceLikeHolmes buddy read that was hosted on Litsy. I tried to read these stories a long time ago when I had an ebook version of the short stories on my Kindle but I never continued with them. Not every story was included in here and the stories that are included in the Audible version said that they were one story but ended up being titled something else. The stories that weren’t included, I listened to those separately. I enjoyed listening to these stories. Some stories were better than others. I liked the 1 hour stories more than the 30 minute stories because I got to spend more time with Holmes and Watson. When some of the stories were 30 minutes, I felt like I didn’t get to spend enough time with Holmes and Watson. This made me realize that I like classic murder mysteries. I like that it didn’t have gore or sex or cussing. It was just Holmes and Watson solving a murder together. I feel like they work really well together as a team.
