I knew this book was supposed to be nonsense, but I did not expect it to be utter, utter nonsense. So disappointing.

One of my favorites. I've probably read it 3 times.

Weird, whacky and wonderful. I never realised how often Alice put her foot in her mouth, she's so tactless, it's very funny. Lots of fun absurd happenings for kids, and very colourful characters. Also, depending on what version you get just beautiful illustrations.

It also has some nice ponderings for the adults among us, such as "it's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then". I like that a lot. Part of my anxiety is my brain continuously offering me awful things I've done 5, 6, 7 years ago and reminding me of what an embarrassing human I am and how I should probably stay indoors and never talk to anyone again (easier these days). It constantly does this, and after finishing Alice today, when my brain proffered its self-loathing memory-nugget I thought of this line from the book and reminded myself that I am not the same person as I was back then and so there's no use revisiting it. Which kind of helped.

4 stars, definitely would recommend to read to children. They'll get stuff out of it that you won't and you'll get stuff out of it that they won't too.

It was fun to read. Quite more rich than Alice in Wonderland i kinda ask me why. Probably because is not the first book?

I don't know why everyone complaints about Burton's movies if there is no movie (that I'm aware of) that is a loyal adaptation of this two pieces.

I'll continue my journey through Classics at work.
