The story telling in this book is in my opinion incredible. By the end of the book you become really invested in the characters and all of their individual story lines.
I found this book on booktok and I’m glad I actually read it because this story really pulled at my heart strings as someone who has sort of recently lost a loved one. It’s a romance that also shows how difficult love and loss can be, but also how fun and exciting love can be.

not a bad book. i found it entertaining which is always a plus. i’m just confused how shawty moved on from her boyfriend of 4 YEARS in 2 WEEKS…

not only that but she then goes into a year long relationship (that is long distance might i add) with a guy she only knew for a week after her breakup. listen im not one to judge but im totally judging.

also the relationship is soooooo doomed. they both got mad at each other for “lying” but the lies were that she didn’t tell him she had him for assassin and he didn’t tell her that he met her sister before she died, like is this what rich people fight about when they have no real problems? you’ve known each other for 4?5? days and you’re so bent out of shape over that?

they were lowkey cute tho lol
