Det är en väldigt barnslig berättelse, men målgruppen är också 9-12 år. Det är en tydligt budskap om att ensam är inte stark bl.a.

Det är en snabbläst bok. Man måste gilla monster och fighter för att gilla boken.

A great followup to the first, it has just so much energy while getting a lot more serious in a good way. A lot of my problems with original character stereotypes were fixed from the first one, and we're starting to see a lot of the grating tendencies from Jack especially disappear. Getting into the nitty gritty of the story has made things way more interesting, and even though you can definitely tell that the characters are kids and have interests that coincide with that, a lot of the video game specific elements have been dropped throughout in favour of a more well rounded story. I won't say that's a bad thing, it definitely shows that the author is going out of his way to make things more interesting. All I'm hoping for is more in-depth of a plot throughout, it seems like we're starting to grow into that but it's just taking time and I'm glad we're starting.
