Wow. (I’ve had to tear myself away from immediately diving into book 2 for this review)
This was an amazing read. For an epic romantasy it was really easy to keep up with the locations, names and character which can be hard to do when trying to keep more than 4 characters from and centre. I loved all the little nods to the Arthurian legends as well as the obvious mentions of it, the little spins were done amazingly well to incorporate it into a high fantasy setting.
This book is a roller coaster, so reader beware you WILL experience whiplash

slow-paced
Honestly I ate this story up, I do think it lacked some flow in the plot. It had weird jumpy moments that needed some revision but otherwise I really liked this book a lot!

Why did I wait to read this book!? Crown of Earth and Sky is a King Arthur retelling with spicy moments and full of fae elementals and shifters.
Veyka is upset, the job that was suppose to be her brother's is now hers. She is now queen, to rule Annwyn. She wanted to be the spare, but King Arthur is murdered mysteriously.
When the Terrestrial heir comes to try and unite the kingdoms, Veyka soon realizes that she must move on from feeling grief and revenge. For The Brutal Prince, is set on pushing her out of her comfort zone and protecting her from those that murdered the King. With his help and those that she surrounds herself with Veyka is finding the light at the end, maybe even love.
