The world has not been kind to miss Madison, nor has the world been kind to young woman or on anyone that dares put themselves on social media. Proud to say I had a Madison Beer fan page back in 2016! I did enjoy this and finished in one day but there was certain bits that I found slightly repetitive but other than that I can’t bring myself to critique because really if you’ve got nothing good to say don’t say it at all, this was her story and it’s not something for me to nitpick at.

I absolutely loved everything about this book. I listened to the audiobook and I loved hearing Madison herself narrate it, that just made the experience 10x better. I love how open she was about everything like mental health, suicidal thoughts, fame and so much more. This book just made me love her so much more and I just want to go to her concert right now to 1, see her live and 2, give her a big hug after everything she’s been through. Highly recommend this one, easy 5/5

i love madison. and i wish madison haters would shut up and just read this book and understand her. no one should judge her or even have anything to say about her before reading this book. that’s it, period.

Interesting memoir from someone who grew up too fast, thrown into a traumatic career before high school. Her reflections on mental health were most valuable and unique from the perspective of premature fame.

what was said about the impact of social media and the music industry were things that i did not find incredibly enlightening - but that might just be because i listen to too many podcasts and have heard many celebrity stories. what i did appreciate about this book was the vulnerability and discussion of mental health, especially her diagnosis. i did love seeing her perspective of life, especially as she is someone who not only got famous very young, but she is also still considered very very young. i would definitely read a second book of hers if she ever releases another one!
This was so heartbreaking. I’m so proud of her for not giving up and that she kept going with life and her career. I’m gonna go cry again but omg I love her so much
