This book and series definitely stood the test of time. This cover may be my favorite out of all of them.

A delightful conclusion to a delightful series. I really felt like this series just kept getting better and better--one of my favorite aspects is that Frederick gives plenty of attention, sympathy and action to the adults in this circle.

And a confession: I read the acknowledgments first and was delighted to see so many familiar names and even be a part of those acknowledgments (not by name, but by very important bookish group!).

I'm sure there are kids who live such extreme lives. A girl in a small public school in Connecticut who is amazing at writing fashion copy for an international magazine, and speeches for the mayoral election, and newspaper columns for the school paper, and is a published children's book author. But would she also be friends with a girl who is so amazing at sewing in 10th grade thats shes done a whole fashion show, two wedding dresses, has been featured in a fashion magazine, runs her own fashion blog and makes baby clothes that are sold internationally through a boutique.... and would those two girls...

Either make it all more realistic or make the extremes feasible. Its all a shade too much and its all a shade too saccharine and I think they would've been picked up by some sort of specialty school or at least the local college for classes.

I really like the series but after the first three or four ehhhhh it gets a little old. I have the last book the camp one but I don't know when I'll be up to reading it.

easily my least favorite of the series. I'm not sure I liked a single thing that occurred. needed more bookclub maybe ???? but I hate their conflict with sophie and all of the relationship drama. so unnecessary, I'm not sure I even know what happened here besides mrs. wong getting elected for mayor. and becka meeting a guy literally named mr. rochester 😭😭😭 this is too much

elizabeth's mid booth notes:
- "I'm crying cassidy does NOT like that boy" <-- re: zack norton
- they hate sophie for being cute and french, and this arbitrary beef makes any growth they've seemed to have gone through previously seem worthless
- also they way they all assumed sophie was into her cousin . . . . girls . . .
